Hourly Pay
Liquid Trucking is a leader in above-average pay grades — even compared to our competitors. Overall, bulk liquid carriers receive better compensation than van or reefer freight carriers. As a liquid carrier, we pay an hourly wage every week, so drivers don’t have to stress about chasing miles. Hourly pay is not a common occurrence in the trucking industry, but we believe that is the best way to compensate our drivers for their hard work. Here’s what our drivers get paid for by the hour:

Earnings Per Year
Drivers make more than a lot of their friends, even the ones that put in all that extra time at school to get a desk job. That’s right, without putting on a suit and tie or living in a cubicle, drivers can make between $75,000 – $85,000 gross earnings per year. In fact, the top 20 percent of our drivers earn over $85K.

At Liquid Trucking, we know liquids. We move all sorts of products from food-grade to hazmat with the bulk of our business being agricultural-based. We are a company of about 235 people, 150 of which are truck drivers. Many of us who are not now driving, once did. Roughly half of our driver force has been with the company for 5 years or better. While the industry averages between 75% to 85% driver turnover depending on fleet size, we average between 20% to 35% year over year. We credit our boost in retention and recruitment to our hourly pay system.
