Inside the Liquid Trucking Podcast: Giving Drivers a Voice
At Liquid Trucking, we don’t just move freight—we build a community. And one of the ways we do that is through our very own Liquid Trucking Podcast! With nearly 70 episodes and over 55,000 downloads, this podcast has become a platform where our drivers, staff, and industry experts come together to share insights, stories, and a few laughs along the way.
The Team Behind the Mic
A great podcast starts with a great team, and at Liquid Trucking, we have just that. Leading the charge is Marcus Bridges, a seasoned broadcaster with over a decade of experience in radio and audio production. Marcus got his start in terrestrial radio, building a career in traditional broadcasting before taking a seven-year hiatus. When he returned to the mic, he brought his expertise to Bulldog, where he now produces and co-hosts the Liquid Trucking Podcast.
But he’s not doing it alone— The Liquid Trucking Safety, Recruiting, and Ownership groups, Jessica, and Mike round out the production team, working behind the scenes to make each episode a success. The LT team help develop episode ideas, ensuring the topics are fresh, engaging, and relevant to drivers. Jessica plays a critical role in coordinating production, reviewing content, and making sure everything stays on track. And then there’s Mike, the audio wizard who polishes each episode in post-production, making sure the final product is crisp, professional, and ready for listeners.
The entire team works together to create a conversational, driver-focused format that’s both informative and entertaining. Whether they’re tackling serious industry issues or swapping stories from the road, their chemistry and camaraderie keep listeners coming back for more.
By leveraging their collective experience, passion for storytelling, and commitment to the trucking community, the Liquid Trucking Podcast has grown into a platform where drivers and industry pros can share their experiences, discuss hot topics, and celebrate the unique culture of trucking.

A Look Behind the Scenes
Each episode takes careful planning and teamwork to bring to life. The crew works closely with Liquid Trucking staff to develop episode ideas, often taking suggestions from drivers themselves. In fact, drivers can earn 50K Drive for Gold points worth $250 for submitting great episode topics.
While Marcus prepares some questions in advance, the podcast thrives on authentic, unscripted conversations, leading to some of the most insightful and entertaining discussions. Episodes typically run about an hour, though some stretch longer when the conversation is just too good to cut short.

Marcus posed for thousands of photos in front of a green screen to provide the Bulldog designers the images they needed to create the fun podcast ads that you see each week on social media and the website. They are very well done and often hilarious. |
