Founded in 1989, family-owned Liquid Trucking started with 3 Freighliners and has grown to one of the 30 largest tank trucking companies in the United States, employing almost 300 staff, including 180 drivers as well as the important supporting crew of administration, dispatchers, shop workers, and tank wash staff. Liquid Trucking now has over 600 pieces of equipment. Founded by Roger Schmidt when his sons were very young, he now runs the business alongside them. Josh Schmidt is the General Manager, and Gabe Schmidt is the Operations Manager. We pride ourselves on providing the highest quality bulk liquid transport services out of the Midwest, servicing the continental US and Canada. Our world class facilities, and state of the art GPS equipped trucks, driven by the most capable drivers in the industry, are the keys to our success and continued growth. This summer, we are expanding our headquarters in Plattsmouth, NE even more! Working with Lacey Construction out of Wahoo Nebraska, the initial project consists of 25,000 square foot state-of-the-art building. The new facility will be used as a Driver Training Center.
