If you haven’t had the chance to meet Jesse Keebler, chances are good you will very soon. Jesse joins the Liquid Trucking family as the Environmental Health & Safety Director, which is a new role for the company. Jesse will be focused on managing company safety and health programs, state and national compliance, OSHA, worker compensation and more.
“Safety has been managed internally up until now. I’m excited to take a more focused approach.” That approach will include starting at ground zero and building a program that fits our industry. This starts with internal audits and new training. “While people never like the extra paperwork that comes with new programs, I am here to make sure all our employees get to go home at the end of the day. That’s what I care about.” says Jesse. I take pride in having great communication with employees, I enjoy being a liaison between an employee and the insurance company in a workers comp case. I help guide the process and make it seamless.” Jesse has hit the ground running. He has already hosted the first safety meeting with the Wash Bay employees.
Jesse comes to Liquid Trucking with experience in health and safety. His last position was with Booster Fuels, where he was the DOT Compliance Manger, where he was in charge of maintaining compliance with federal and state regulations for a fleet. He was excited to join the Liquid Trucking team because it’s exciting to work with people who want and support change. “The owners and leadership here want to do right by their employees. Their hearts and minds are in a good place.”
While not making the world a safer place, Jesse enjoys spending time with his wife Kristin and their 3 children. All three kids are very involved in athletics, including volleyball, basketball, tennis, baseball and football! Jesse has been coaching sports with all of his kids since they were young and loves the memories they’ve made. As a family they enjoy taking beach vacations in Florida and hiking.
