You may have already noticed a fresh face around here lately. We are thrilled to welcome Desiray Cessna as the newest addition to our team, joining us as our Payroll/Benefits Specialist. Let’s all give her a warm “Hi, Desiray!”
Desiray brings with her an impressive background, boasting nearly 15 years of experience in HR and Payroll. Her proficiency with spreadsheets is top-notch, making her an invaluable asset to our company. She’s eager to acquaint herself with the Liquid Trucking team and has already expressed her admiration for our members’ great camaraderie and mutual respect. Desiray said, “They seem like a really great team; they value each other and really seem to get along.”
Detail-oriented and focused, Desiray can immerse herself in her work, shutting out the distractions of the world around her. Growing up with eight siblings, she honed this skill and has carried it into her professional life. Born and raised in the Omaha/Council Bluffs area, Desiray is deeply rooted here and has no plans to leave.
What’s more, Desiray already has a strong grasp of the trucking world, thanks to her husband’s occupation as a truck driver and her past experience at two other trucking companies. Together, they are raising five boys aged between 5 and 21. When not hard at work or enjoying baseball and football with her family (and cheering passionately for the Vikings and the Chiefs), Desiray loves swimming and indulging in her creative side by crafting decals. She also ensures her family stays healthy with their favorite fresh fruits and veggies, and they all relish the cherished tradition of Taco night.
Desiray is eager to prove herself and is committed to long-term growth within our company. Desiray said, “I am really looking forward to proving myself. I want to continue to grow here and stay for the long haul.” Im pretty sure that pun was intended. We couldn’t be more excited to have her on board as part of the Liquid Trucking team.
