In August, we welcomed Jessica Stroup to the team! Jessica works in the Administrative Department doing CSR/Order Entry.
While Jessica only joined our team a few months ago, she is no stranger to the transportation industry. She has worked in transportation for 18 years and has experienced many different sides of the industry. She has taken on yet another new side of the industry as order entry is brand new to her.
Liquid Trucking was on Jessica’s radar after she worked with some of the management at a previous company. She was already drawn to LT because she had made ties with a lot of the employees here, but ultimately, it was the family-owned aspect of the business and knowing that she’d be closer to home that sealed the deal.
As she has settled into her new position, she has enjoyed learning about order entry, having flexibility within her job, and getting to know her coworkers. She says the people are what makes Liquid Trucking such a great place to work. But with all new jobs, come challenges. The most difficult part of her job has been trying to organize the past/present files for order entry. With that being said, her goal is to streamline the filing process and make it easier for her (and her coworkers) to find what they need quickly and efficiently.
When Jessica isn’t working, she enjoys cheering on her kids at their sporting events and doing photography.
